The expert on YouTube would never hear what I was doing and I didn’t have the knowledge to know whether I was making improvements or getting worse
Either way, my high notes still sounded like when the dude gets shot in a Western movie and somersaults over a balcony into pile of horse shit
I knew I had 2 choices:
1) Continue to be unhappy with my voice and never find out what life could be like when I reached my full potential
OR
2) Visit a vocal coach and have somebody work with me on my exact voice, to reach my exact goals, In my exact life
Hopefully you can see why I chose “numero due”
With my vocal coach, I learned how to
✔️ Hit the high notes without thinning or cracking my voice
✔️ Create a rich, warm, resonant sound
✔️ Eventually I developed a professional voice that I now share with paying audiences...and it doesn’t matter whether it’s a “good day" or not *wink*
One little-known fact is that I started out my career as a primary school teacher in the UK. And with this love of teaching and singing, inevitably years later I set up shop as a vocal coach (a match made in heaven!)
